Myquestion is, when I have tried to update via usb, I have renamed the coffee lake refresh p870dm.rom bios to BIOS.bin to keep the dsnake instructions. Is this correct? It does matter if the bios is flashed as .rom or .bin?

Programmer should work. When I flashed the BIOS of mine, it bricked just like yours. I used my programmer and everything worked well.

Don't worry about doing a BIOS access mod unless you plan to do some extreme stuff. I know its annoying to take the whole laptop apart, but I've only needed to access the BIOS chip once, and that was to unbrick my motherboard.

Hi there, I had a problem with my P870DM-G that I miserably failed updating the BIOS, but that now it is fixed with a p870tm-g BIOS I modified with Coffee Time, but not sure if will works or not yet. I found encouraging your upgrade up to the 9900k, so I wished to do the same and upgrade from my 6700k sooner or later. Can you please share again a copy of the modded BIOS update because your previous link does not work... Did you update also EC and EC2? Well, I noticed the motherboard now is a P870TM-G so will need also different ECs. Thank you for any tips.

But it detects usb and function normal. All usb port can not be bad i checked in all. i checked with different usb's but in bios it dose not detect usb at all. may be i refresh the bios will solve the problem.
