We're grateful to be back at work after the government shutdown! We will resume our biweekly calls this coming Monday 11/24 at 1pm EST with 3 main topics:

1. Shenghan Gao and Keith Oshima will provide an update on patching/fixing our HG008Nv6.2 assembly with hifiasm assemblies from Haoyu Cheng.
2. Josh Vo from UMich will present initial analyses of RNA-seq data for HG008-T
3. If there's time, we'll present plans for a manuscript and some additional analyses of somatic variants in homopolymers and tandem repeats
