GIAB at ASHG this week

Dear GIAB,

 

For those at ASHG this week, there are three GIAB-focused posters about our latest work on HG002 for assembly-based germline benchmarks and HG008 for somatic benchmarks:

1. Wednesday 2:30-4:30 – Nate Olson will present at Board 1160W: New Genome In A Bottle HG002 T2TQ100 diploid assembly-based small and structural variant benchmark sets.
2. Thursday 2:30-4:30 – Chunlin Xiao will present at Board 8029T: Haplotype-resolved assemblies for somatic mutation benchmark development for a GIAB tumor-normal pair reference sample
3. Friday 2:30-4:30 – Jenny McDaniel will present at Board 8009F: Analysis of extensive data towards Genome in a Bottle benchmarks for a broadly-consented tumor normal pair

 

They’ll be available to answer questions and look forward to seeing many of you there! Unfortunately, I’ll miss ASHG this year but hope to see some of you at AMP in a few weeks.
