Many of you have already signed up for Race 4 Grace to be held on April 14th.
We are approximately 8 weeks away from race day and this is a great
time to start your 10k training program. There are many great training
sites available. halhigdon.com is a popular site that hosts schedules
for a 5k to a full marathon. Perhaps you are new to exercise and have
set your goal to complete the 2 mile walk/run, then the 5k training
program would better suit your needs. I would be happy to answer any
questions you have about starting a training program.
*Angie Ziller is in need of volunteers before and on race day. If you
are interested in helping, please let Angie or I know.
*Also, don't forget about the butterfly challenge. Each person who
sells 10 butterlies to honor a fighter of cancer will be entered in a
drawing. The butterflies will be displayed along the course as well
as at the start/finish of the race.
For more information on the race, go to www.gracefoundationgi.org
