Hi everyone,

 

 

Here's an update on who's at the Petco stores and when they need to come back. I'm looking for drivers for:

• Alpharetta - looking for a driver
• Acworth - looking for a driver 
• Peachtree City  - Yvonne - we can schedule a "halfway point" if you'd like!
• Roswell - looking for a driver
• Milton - Lisa Secondino to swap on Saturday
• Marietta Petco & Woodstock PetSmart - I will do these this Saturday unless someone else would like to!

 

See below for the list of rabbits at Petco/PetSmart and when they need to come back. We're aiming for 4 weeks (ish) for each rabbit, and we don't want them to overstay their welcome :).

 

If you have any questions, please let me know!

can I just say that we have THE BEST volunteers? Rose & Stephanie, let me know what time I can call you guys today to help arrange this. I can draft all the bios, call all the stores for a heads up and list of supplies, and then email you a complete list by store for what they need.

 

But then also want to call to see if you guys have times you recommend folks stop by or any procedures you'd like me to follow so this can be as smooth as possible.

Well that was fast! Thank you everyone for such prompt responses and willingness to help!

 

Here are the bunnies that can head out:

 

• Alpharetta Petco - Jennifer McGee to pick up Chipper on Wednesday, and then take Bunko on Thursday
• Acworth Petco - Kate Bradley to swap Hopscotch on Thursday for Nolan
• Peachtree City Petco  - Yvonne - we can schedule a "halfway point" if you'd like! Chestnut will be your bunny, and you'll bring back Brave
• Roswell Petco - Lucinda - she's a little big so she'll only go for three weeks - Paula Farbolin will drive, and swap Mario out for Lucinda
• Milton Petco - Speckle - she's little and fiesty, please keep an eye on her if it seems like she's getting a little aggressive. She's sweet, but sometimes she bites :) I think post-spay she's settled down a lot so she should be fine. Lisa Secondino will drive, I let Lisa know by text to keep an eye on Speckle. She'll swap out Cous Cous for Speckle
• Marietta Petco - Kate Bradley to swap Henri on Thursday for Isabella (I might bond her with my rabbit so I want her close by!)
• Woodstock PetSmart - Kate Bradley to swap Hansel & Gretal on Thursday for Chessie & Easter

Nolan had a serious adoption interest from 101 on Sunday.  Mom is thinking about it but it would be Nolan and she may foster to adopt.  Her info was sent in Caroline's 101 update.

yeah I would absolutely believe that!! That's why I put him in Acworth so he'd be very close by and hopefully easy to pull, and I might now try to bond my bunny tomorrow so I can snag the rabbit of his (and my) choice!

 

If we're ready and willing to break up Shimmer, Glimmer, and Shine, we can explore doing that for swaps, although it doesn't free up anymore pens....

If you are arranging for buns to head off to Petcos, can we get advanced warning to Ed in case photos are needed for any of them?

He usually comes in on Wednesdays. If we have a list of who is going out, we can make sure they are all photographed beforehand

I'm not sure if Kisherra Dalton will follow through, but at Bunny 101, she was interested in potentially adopting Shimmer, Glimmer, and Shine. I don't know if anyone has spoken with her, or if she has put in her application yet, but someone might want to give her a call to see if that is still on the table. The same thing if you are considering moving Nolan out, you might want to check with Mlee Lefkovits to see if she has made a decision one way or the other. She also needed to complete an adoption app. Giving these folks a heads up on what's happening might just push them into making a decision rather than sitting on the fence. Just a thought.
