The two visionary ones, I mean. Jim Roberts and Karl Coryat. I've sent them the formal proposal I made to Schiffer, and they have no problem with what I plan to write. This book will not harm anybody who gave me opportunities, was helpful to me, and who brought joy to my life.

Listen, if you're not sitting around telling endless racist, misogynist, and anti-Semitic jokes; if you're not a complete degenerate; if you're not an insecure, power-mad, smelly martinet who has to rub his panda butt all over everything to mark his territory; if you're not as impenetrable as a block of oak; if you don't have the artistic sensibilities of a chunk of granite; and if you're not a cruel, sadistic, incompetent buffoon who's running your industry into the ground, what are you worried about?

ten straight years. Gibson isn't the exception; he's the rule. This is what I experienced, and I'm going to write about it. So quit yer bitchin'. I'm not burning any bridges, because I have no plans on working in the music business ever again.
