I may be doing something wrong, but I wish that when performing a
search it would do a search beyond the particular context, Project or
Action window I have open. In other words a search of everything
everywhere, and pull that up. Is there anyway to do this? Thanks!!

Yes, if you search in the action view, all actions names and their
notes will be searched.
notes will be searched.
