Hello,
It seems you did some mistakes configuring the network.
First of all you configured the virtual box networking as NAT an this not going to work, you can't access to an ip with NAT. You should use bridged or host-only.
After that when you configure an IP address you have pick one from the right network where you placed the virtual machine (so it depends from bridged or host only).
Anyway you don't need to configure an IP address, the appliance will pick one using virtual box dhcp.
Today I will publish a detailed guide about how to configure the appliance, I hope it will help.
