The program has a somewhat confusing interface that requires the user to right-click on the aquarium as it's running in order to access the Options menu. But the actual fish tank action is impressive. Up to six species of sea creatures (the trial limits the tank to six) move in realistic ways and look lifelike, whether they are brightly colored angelfish or crabs scurrying about on the sea floor. The program's options are the highlight of the program once the menu is accessed. Users can choose between seven different aquariums, different fish, lighting, and can even feed the fish. While it seems like every opportunity was taken for users to control the tank, the designers neglected to give them as much control over when the screensaver operates. Throughout the extensive Options menu we only found one vague command to set when the aquarium appears, and oddly, this was only when the computer was running on battery.
While its lack of direction for controlling the program was annoying, it wasn't enough to deter us from the spectacular graphics and options for the aquarium. Anyone interested in filling the screen undersea life should give this download a shot.
I have not been using Roku much recently because of the problems with the Roku Media Player. earlier in the year at the start of the pandemic I had a lot of time to spend listening to music and audio files and watch the fish. I did not notice these issues back then. I stopped when the RMP got an "upgrade" and was no longer usable.
I will note some places where fishes swim through solid objects. it doesn't happen every time, but it won't take long to see it happen. the other two issues happen less frequently and are harder to describe a location.
I haven't experienced the issues you posted but I can divert a fish path by simply touching the TV screen, moving my finger around it. The fish bounces back and forth, up and down, until it can get away from me... or my finger. The latter has not happened ever until I started playing around with them. But only then... The eel in the cave also reacts to my finger by opening its mouth wider than usual. Whether the fish are real or mechanical, how can they react to my fingers touching the screen? They really want to swim away from my disturbing actions. If they can see my finger, and how so, who else can see me? I do love the free spectacle, relaxing and colorful; great when I do not have the time to watch TV but it is a pretty thing to have in front of me. Thanks, Roku!
I think these glitches make it more interesting to watch. First time I saw a fish swim through an object it was a real head trip. I've noticed that it usually happens when the fish is turning to avoid the object but can't turn sharp enough.

Hi Elizabeth, I know it sounds tricky at first. The screensavers only work on computers (where they loop automatically). So it requires a video to be played on a compatible media player. You ca try a sample at -uscenes-downloads/
There are also various other slower paced ones depending on fish types e.g. the Blue Tang like in the film Finding Dory is probably what you think of as too fast. Whereas Angel Fish barely move at all. Have a browse, every video has a video to watch before downloading.
