that's probably not the suggestion you are expecting. But do yourself and your users a favor and remove facebook from your apps. Facebook is disrespecting developers and without any notice keep changing things, not respecting user rights; injecting scripts etc. Especially on IOS, you will have many issues with apple. I have just came to this post because I recognized myself that facebook login isnt working because my app was turned into Development mode, i dont know why and never got any notice from Facebook. This is not the first time Facebook does something like that. I had already in my mind to remove facebook for user rights and finally this triggered. All you need is a username-password login, if you want google login, it is ok at least for developers aspect. they inform you with the changes in advance.Dont make your app depends on facebook, you will surely regret. There are many posts about if you google.

For all those who has the same issue, if you no longer want to log-in using facebook for your airbnb account, all you have to do is set a password. Go to www.airbnb.com/forgot_password. Just enter the email address on the airbnb account. A reset password link will be sent to that email and just follow through with the process.
I logged in using Facebook. I booked a trip. The email for that account is an old one that I don't use but the confirmations are going to the old email. I could not change the email on that account so I opened a new AirBnb account using my current email. How can I move the reservation to my new account so I can close the old account?
Your post is a bit confusing. I have the same problem. I want to be able to login with an email/password because logging in with FB is not possible using my work computer. Is it possible to login to the same Airbnb account using either FB, Google or email/password? If not how do I switch from using FB to email/password without signing up for a new account.
I have been using this site for about a year now via facebook. I've recently downloaded the chess.com app for the iphone but haven't been able to log in, as there is no option to use my facebook login, as there is from the chess.com website.
Is there any way to transfer my "facebook" chess.com account over to a normal account? I could just create a new account I guess but I don't want to lose my rating points or my tournament registrations etc...
A long time ago when we started having people using our facebook app playing on chess.com and having the ability to merge we weren't able to transfer over the email addresses or passwords. As I said, those are registered on facebook when you created the facebook account, we don't have a log of them.
While testing our Facebook social login we noticed that in one of the cases the email address is missing from the Auth0 user profile. We verified the Facebook account has a primary email address and the email checkbox (and therefore scope) has been checked when first logging in. No reason the email address should be missing, because with another account it works as expected. We also tried removing the app from the Facebook account and deleting Auth0 profile (starting fresh). Without any luck.
This discussion might be useful: -facebook/issues/61. The user borama mentions it happens in 2% of the logins (comment from 2012, so might be unrelated). This might be innacurate, but the fact that it happened on our second test is alarming. It breaks our login flow and requires dirty hacks to solve.
Meta (formerly Facebook) today began rolling out support for Meta accounts on Quest 2 headsets, offering a new way to access your VR devices without the need for a Facebook account. The highly-anticipated update provides several options depending on your current setup.
Driving engagement and brand loyalty through your WordPress website can be tricky. One of the best ways to stay connected with users is for them to sign up for accounts with your site. However, many visitors may feel this task is a hassle, especially if it requires them to generate and later remember a new, secure password. One way to circumvent this problem is offer Facebook login functionality.
If the box next to "Keep me logged in" is checked on the Facebook login screen, the site remembers you each time you return to Facebook on the computer. When you navigate away from the site, or even close your browser altogether, you are not logged out. When you return to Facebook, the site opens on your homepage with an up-to-date news feed, as opposed to opening on the login screen.
When you uncheck the box next to "Keep me logged in," Facebook will automatically log you out of your account whenever you close your Internet browser. Each time open a browser and point it to Facebook, you are met with the sign-in screen and must manually enter your username or email and password.
We created this flow before Facebook expanded the permissions they allow you to ask (email address, for one). So, were we to draft this today, we would tell users if we found an existing account to match up with, and if not, would ask them to also "log in" to match up accounts.
Create a Facebook App if you plan to integrate Facebook login/register/comments into your application in the near future. I would recommend to use the Facebook Javascript SDK to set up your Like button and other facebook widgets for your site.
