Hi
I am a computer science graduate and recently got interested in
creating heatmaps on top of Google Maps.

I have read the full instructions for installing GHeat at
http://www.zetadev.com/software/gheat/0.2/__/doc/html/ but that is
little difficult for me to understand.

I have a hosting contract with a company. The environment is Linux,
with MySQL database.

Can you please provide some instructions on what I need to do to have
GHeat running in this hosting account?

Please let me know if you require any additional information.

I know my request may require a little extra of your precious time,
but we can cherish the thought that any information you provide will
be useful to hundreds of others too.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Shahriar,

Thanks for writing! Personally, I'm not going to be able to improve on the instructions here:

What specifically don't you understand or are you having a problem with?

Hi Chad

Thanks for your kind reply.

I am on shared hosting service, renting space to have my site hosted.
I access my site via CPanel (very likely you have seen this
somewhere).

My site is hosted on a Linux server so, I am assuming Python is
installed; I have asked my hosting service for information on the
version of Python that is installed though.

Now, can you provide some guidelines on how I can install Aspen in
such an environment?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi
can you give me an idea on how much total hard disk space will be
required to setup Aspen and installing GHeat?
