Filtering data on points.db

Is there a way in which i can filter data out of the data which is
present in points.db. I understand theoretically it is possible
because we are using SQLite but I am wondering if I could have another
parameter in the points.txt like time and then filter the results on
time before generating the tiles?

If you start with a CSV, could you filter it with grep before loading it?

Chad, that might have worked for kind of static filtering. For now what we need is that the user would be able to define the filter criteria and we would have to filter the list on the fly and feed it to gHeat. That is the where the challenge lies for us.

Yeah, that's more complicated than gheat allows for at the moment. Feel free to take the codebase and run with it. If you come up with something that you want to release back we can look at folding it back in or simply linking to a fork.
