Dear Action/2015 Colleagues,
The Global Call to Action Against Poverty is ready for lots of Action/2015 !
We would love to invite you to come on board and work with us on an exciting campaign of action and movement throughout the month of May 2015 .
Global Moves for Justice 2015 is new campaign action that we have been working on over the past six months – a flexible idea that can be adapted to all different national and regional contexts.
We are planning on holding events called “ Global Moves for Justice 2015” over a period of 1 month.
We think May is a good month for i) final pressure on Governments (nothing much happens in the UN in July and August so most of the work will be completed before summer break) and ii) key moment to continue to build momentum and citizen´s awareness on post 2015 in the run up to September.
A Global Move Event aims to build on ongoing campaigning initiatives on the ground. It has 3 key components:
1.Raising Awareness - the event will put the spotlight on a key issue of injustice that the post 2015 agenda must address.
2. Clear political demands asking governments, the private sector or international
institutions to address this injustice in a concrete way.
3.Involve movement! People will physically move – run, walk,
cycle dance, fly, roll... moving as creative and colourful as possible.
These are just some initial ideas and we would love you to help flesh them out, come up with new ideas and above all
begin to prepare to MOVE and MOBILISE in MAY 2015 !
We will be organizing the first call on Tuesday 16th September at 13hrs GMT and invite you to join this MAY MOBILISATIONS Action Team. On the call we will share more information on the Global Moves campaign so far, invite you to share ideas together on major mobilisations in May, and finally, develop a Terms of Reference for this new action team.

Llamado Mundial a la Acción contra la Pobreza está listo para mucha Acción / 2015!
Nos encantaría invitarte a sumar a una emocionante campaña de acción y movimiento durante el mes de mayo.
Muévanse para la Justicia 2015 es una nueva
campaña de movilización
que hemos estado trabajando durante los últimos seis meses – es una campaña flexible que se puede adaptar a todos los diferentes contextos nacionales
y regionales.
Estamos pensando en la organizar eventos
llamados “Muevense para la Justica 2015” durante un período
de 1 mes.
Creemos que mayo es un buen mes para i) ultimo momento para presionar
a los gobiernos en el
proceso de la agenda pos 2015 (julio y agosto son meses muy tranquilos en la
ONU así que la mayoría del trabajo se completará los meses antes de las
vacaciones de verano) y ii)
un momento clave para seguir movilizando
a la ciudadanía y sensibilizando sobre la agenda pos- 2015 hacia y más allá de
septiembre.
Un evento “Muévanse para
la Justica 2015” tiene como objetivo complementar iniciativas de campaña ya existentes y tiene tres
elementos claves:
1. Dar visibilidad a ciertas situaciones de injusticia que la agenda post 2015
debería abordar.
2. Tener una demanda clara de la gente para que los
gobiernos solucionen esta situación de injusticia.
3. Movimiento! La gente tiene que moverse físicamente - correr, caminar, bailar ciclo, volar, rodar ... moviéndose de las formas más creativas posibles.
Estas son sólo algunas ideas iniciales y nos encantaría que sumas a esta campaña, con nuevas y mejores ideas y sobre todo
para comenzar a prepararnos para movernos todos y MOVILIZAR MAYO 2015!
El martes 16 de septiembre vamos a tener nuestra primera teleconferencia del Equipo de Acción/Movilizaciones Mayo a las 13hrs GMT
Durante la llamada compartiremos más
información sobre la Campaña hasta ahora, les invitaremos a compartir ideas juntos para grandes movilizaciones en mayo, y por último, desarrollaremos los Términos de Referencia para este nuevo
equipo de acción.
