As a UN-mandated initiative, WSA showcases digital content that really makes a difference. It selects the best products from more than 160 UN-member countries and puts them on a global stage at a world congress for digital content.

After the national pre-selection period, a jury of eminent experts will come together in Tallinn, Estonia to evaluate the submissions and select the 40 best products - five in each contest category.
With the great support of ICTA, WSA is going to celebrate the smartest and most creative e-Content producers in Colombo, Sri Lanka from October 23-25, 2013. The 40 WSA Winners will have the chance to present their projects, network with business partners and meet other experts in the field of ICT at the WSA World Congress 2013 in Sri Lanka.
