Subject: GHANA AND NIGERIA TEA TIME THIS THURSDAY
To:

Dear Students who are planning or have already studied in Ghana:

You are cordially invited to our bi-weekly African Tea Time event on Thursday, April 12th in Room 115 International Center at 4:00pm. The event ends at 6:00pm. Our focus countries this time around are Ghana and Nigeria. Come and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Ghanaian or Nigerian tea, a snack, and semi formal conversations about various aspects of Ghana and Nigeria from knowledgeable faculty, students, and members of the Ghanaian and Nigerian Communities from the Greater Lansing Area.

AFRICAN TEA TIME

The bi-weekly African Tea Time series provides an excellent opportunity for faculty and students to share information about topics relating to a specific African country. Each meeting will focus on a particular African country and its tea-consuming culture as a point of departure for faculty, students, and members of the Greater Lansing Community to share research, socio-cultural and other types of information about the focus country. The meetings will follow a semi-formal format and are designed to bring faculty and students together while serving as a vehicle for interaction with those members of the Greater Lansing Community who are interested in Africa.

The African Tea Time is sponsored by the African Studies Center and by Kongamano, an umbrella group representing various student organizations that have interest in, or work in Africa.

Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions about this event.

Please forward this message and attached poster to others in the Greater Lansing Area. Thank you, and hope to see you on Thursday!
