Articles for your Pre-departure Class

Hello Everyone,
I uploaded all the articles (you don’t have textbooks for this course) you will need for March 31st pre-departure meeting. I loaded the articles on the Dropbox website. For those of you who are not familiar with the website, it is a web storage site that I can load and share information with everyone. Below are instructions on how to log on and get Dropbox. I chose this method because the ANGEL website is not yet up and you need to read some of these articles for our predeparture class session.
Directions
1. Go to Dropbox.com
2. Click on “Download Dropbox”
3. Once the application is loaded, either select
a. I already have a Dropbox account (only if you have one already) or
b. Sign up for a new one
i. If you sign up for a new account, you will be asked to provide an email and password. Please use your official MSU/Umich or university email. I need use this email to share the documents.
c. Click Next
d. Select the “2 GB box” because this is for free
e. Click Next
f. Select “Typical” Setting
g. Click Install
After installing the program, you should see a Dropbox icon on your desktop. If you open it you should already have files that I shared with you. Please save these files to your desktop or my documents. The good news about Dropbox is that once the files are in the storage, you can access them from any computer or if you don’t have internet access you can still pull up the article. This will be really helpful and save some trees b/c you will not have to print out your articles. You can also use dropbox with your friends and colleges and share information with them. The only thing is DO NOT to add any information to the Ghana 2012 Reading Summer reading folder. Any changes you make will be seen by the group. As soon as ANGEL is up and running these files will also be posted there. Hope you all have a great week,
