Class Notes and other important Information ***PLZ Respond***

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry if you are getting this twice.  The orginal document was too large so I'm spiting the actual email and attachments.   Just a few announcements.

1.  If you haven't sent me your courses and PID, please do so immediately. Registration opens up soon and I have to get this information from you before you can register for classes. 

2. I also need a short (~50 words) bio from everyone about your interests and what you hope to get out of this experience. This is very important because Dr. Agbenyiga and BASIC will use this information to match you with a program in Ghana.  As we have mentioned before, all of you will be working at BASIC (see placement sheet attached in Google group) but you won't necessarily be doing the same thing or working with same group.  So try to be as specific as possible so that Dr. Agbenyiga can find a good place for you. I've attached examples for you all.  Please send this information to me no later than Monday April 16th. 

3.  For those of you interested in Adinkra symbols, I've also attached a pdf of some of them.  You will see in Ghana that these symbols are featured on wood carvings, cloth, etc.

4. Your next pre-departure meeting date will be April 21st 2:00PM-5:00PM.  This is also the day of the cultural dinner.  As we get closer to the date, I will upload the articles to GoogleGroup not Dropbox.  Also, I will ask about any food allergies/preferences (vegetarian, carnivore, vegan etc) you may have.
