A Maple 10 license file (maple10.lic) will be saved in the license folder of your Maple 10 installation. Activating multiple licenses for multiple license managers will require separate activations. This can be done from a single server. Each activation will require you to modify the pre-populated hostid field with the relevant hostid, as well as the number of license seats you would like to use for that server (the pre-populated field will default to the total number of license seats remaining). If a license file already exists in the current license folder, additional activated network license files will be named maple101.lic, maple102.lic, etc., and can then be copied to the appropriate server for configuration.

The -l option (letter l, not the number 1 (one)) creates the file.

Are you talking about the inside or the outside? Big difference. Take a look at the article about outdoor finishes in the latest issue of FWW. If your going for a non painted finish outdoors your looking at a long term maintenance issue. I have used the boat "varnish" they mentioned and it is a good product. As for staining I would suggest getting some of the same kind of wood and doing some tests pine and fir can be tricky to stain. If your talking about the inside I just did some mahogany windows in my house an I used amber shellac and was pleased with the results.
I have definately been thinking inside window trim on the assumption that the Andersen's are clad on the exterior. You would have to be more or less insane to be thinking of a clear finish on exterior windows, given the annual or nearly annual maintenance needed except in rare cases. For the exterior window trim ONLY an opaque finish makes any sense.

After the blizzard and strong winds of yesterday I awoke to a hard frost, clear air and blue skies. I just had to go back to Ribblesdale to see whether my sculpture from yesterday had survived and to try and get the ice shine pictures I originally envisaged.
And, oh boy, I wasn't disappointed!
Fresh snow had fallen and the wind had carved it's own wonderful sculptures. Aretes and fins aplenty and amazing meringue shapes around holes and dips. As we walked up to the place I couldn't see the sculpture and I doubted whether it was still there but as we got closer suddenly I saw it. The ice windows were much more translucent and the sun shone through strongly. This was perfect and exactly how I had imagined it.
But like a total fool I had left the pencil eraser, that fixed my camera yesterday, in a different jacket pocket and it started to play up again, and again and again. But despite it's lack of cooperation I still got what I wanted.
