Canyon CNS-GPS2 watches similar

Hi,

I have a Canyon CNS-GPS2 watch and the serial protocol seems quite
similar to the GH6xx watches. I even managed to get some basic
information (number of waypoints, tracks) from the watch with the
vanilla gh615 sources, but it did not work perfectly at all (no
waypoint up/download, gh615 crashes occasionally, etc).

Where did you get the specifications for the GH6xx protocol from? Do
you think it is possible or worthwhile to integrate Canyon support
into gh615?

Hi there,
looking at Watch itself and its manual, it looks like it's just a
rebranded Globalsat unit.
I doubt that Canyon customized the firmware, so I have hope your
troubles can be fixed.

Please supply me with the following information and I will do my best
troubleshooting your issues:
- please send me your gh615.log file
- What firmware version are you using on the watch?
- What value did you set the 'firmware' option to (config.ini)?
