Description of IPLA Board Positions

Below is the description of the IPLA Board Positions:

Section I - President

The President's duties shall include, but not limited to, the
following responsibilities:
A. Call meetings and preside at meetings.
B. Set the agendas for meetings.
C. Coordinate operations and directions.
D. Act as liaison between GGU IPLA and school.
E. Perform additional duties or assign additional chairs as necessary
to ensure GGU IPLA meets soals.

Section 2 - Vice President

The Vice President's duties shall include the following
responsibilities:
A. Call meetings in the absence of the President.
B. Coordinate activities of the Chairpersons.
C. Oversee logistics of GGU IPLA events, including room and A/V needs
D. Act as liaison between GGU IPLA and President.

Section 3 - Secretary

The Secretary's duties shall include the following responsibilities
A. Compile and maintain meeting minutes and records of GGU IPLA.
B. Keep current list of GGU IPLA members through a "Membership List."
C. Check the GGU IPLA mailbox in the SBA
D. Coordinate transfer of all GGU IPLA files and folders to the
incoming Secretary
upon completion of Elections.

Section 4 - Treasurer

The Treasurer's duties shall include the following responsibilities:
A. Maintain financial accounts of GGU IPLA.
B. Set the budget.
C. Submit financial reports to the SBA.

Section 5 - Chairpersons (2 positions available)

1. Membership/Outreach Chair- this position's duties shall include the
following
responsibilities:
A. lncrease membership and publicity.
B. Manage and maintain Google Group forum.
1. Pass down all GGU IPLA aliases and passwords to
incoming Chairperson upon completion of Elections
C. Inform members of meetings and events.

2. Program/Social Chair- this position's duties shall include the
following
responsibilitres:
A. Maintain calendar of events.
B. Perform fundraisins tasks.
