THE 2ND ANNUAL STANFORD CHINA LAW &
POLICY CONFERENCE
The Role of Law in Promoting
Chinese Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Saturday, May 5, 2012
Last year, CLPA began the
tradition of hosting an annual China conference at Stanford Law School.
The inaugural CLPA conference, featuring former Secretary of State
Condoleeza Rice as keynote speaker, was enormously successful, drawing
over 400 registered participants from the Bay Area.
This year's conference, "The
Role of Law in Promoting Chinese Entrepreneurship and Innovation," will
take place on May 5, 2012. Specific topics include 1) The New Foreign
Investment Environment in China - Corporate Governance in the Maturing
Chinese Economy, 2) Promoting "Chinese Innovation," and 3) Developing
the Chinese Clean Energy Sector - Issues in Entrepreneurship and
Innovation. The conference will feature keynote speaker Qi Lu,
President of Microsoft's Online Search Division.
Note that we will provide CLE
credits for participating attorneys, pending approval by the California
state bar. For more details about this event, please see our website:
