Hi all, below is a message from Sandra Derian regarding this Tuesday's IPLC Distinguished Speaker Series. The message below serves two functions: 1.) Sandra is looking for roughly 5 volunteers to help out and make sure the event runs smoothly; 2.) It serves as an invite to all of you, just see the attached flier for info about how to RSVP. I am checking in to see if you are interested in volunteering for the IP Event on Tues., 9/25 for the evening IP event. Attached is the flyer.

 

You are not obligated to volunteer, however if you are able and interested, I need one person certified with alcohol serving training from the SORG training that took place in late August. I need one person with a digital camera; able to take some posed and some casual photos, though we don't want photos of groups of people with their back to you. Also some photos from different angles in the lecture itself. If you do not have a digital camera, but can operate an SLR camera owned by Prof. Greenberg, please let me know. The event would end at 8:30, but sticking around to clean up is most appreciated. I'd like to be out of there at 9PM with everything put away. You may attend the lecture that begins at 6:30 as long as you can be up in room 6210 ahead of the crowd leaving the lecture hall (room 2201), about 7:15 or so.
