Ironman triathletes,
For those of you ready to get a head start on the course map for this weekend, here is the link on Map My Run.
Complete details, including a map with direction arrows, start times/locations for both the SF & Marin cyclists, turn by turn instructions, support, etc., will be included on my next email and sent today.
This map indicates a 125 mile ride which starts in San Francisco. It is suggested that those starting their ride from Mike's Bikes in Sausalito will need to tap on ~7-12 miles additional miles in order to meet the prescribed 120-125 mile distance. I suggest riding this before meeting for the group ride while your motivation and legs are still fresh.
Here is that link:
Start time and location:
Riders leaving SF (Golden Gate Bridge South/East parking lot) will meet at Mike's Bikes to rendezvous with the riders starting in Marin no later than 7:45 AM - meet at Mike's Bikes at 7:45 AM ready to ride. Course overview will be by 7:50 AM, push off at 8:00 AM.
