Ironman Group T-Shirt - Design Concepts

Hey Team -

The response has been overwhelmingly positive. I went ahead and put two concepts I had onto illustrator to provide a more refined vision for your all. These are not the final versions (although I think they're at a level they could be). The proposed colors are intentional. The colors may come in funny as everyone's monitor settings are a little different so I encourage you to take a look at American Apparel's T-Shirt Colors:

To make it easier -- While on the page, hit Ctrl+F (pc) or Cmnd+F (mac) and search for the colors.

** I use American Apparel as a good test for colors. The quality is pretty good and I personally would lean to them for a provider.

Please see the attached images for the designs and let me know what you think. Thanks to those of you who already provided some ideas. I hope these do a good job creating some of your visions.

Hey All -

The feedback has been good and it's pretty overwhelming that people like the "Fe" design. Some like it because it's smart and some because it's unique, and some because they didn't even know what it meant but thought it looked good! 

For the record, "Fe" is Iron on the periodic table and Dorette totally nerded out with all sorts of information about the element if you're interested.

I have other iterations, but I think this is the most polished...

• NYSE Symbol = First Energy Corp
• Cuban League Baseball Team
• Fundamentals of Engineering

• Danish Defence Intelligence Service (Translated into English of course)

 

 

So many possibilities... glad to see you jettisoned your inner e.e. cummings with this design. Only one man was able to pull that off... ever.

 

All kidding aside it's a fabulous fucking shirt and I want shit ton of them for my closet... and maybe to wear as well.

Ah! I was going to keep all nerdiness to myself, but since I've now been exposed...

Fe (Iron)

• is #26 on the periodic table of elements, as in 26.2 miles of a marathon
• Found as three different compounds Fe, Fe+2, Fe+3, like the three different disciplines in Iron(Fe)man
• is a transitional metal, as in T1, T2...or I guess it could also transitioning from Jimmy Hendrix to Ozzy Osbourne to Metallica.
• Iron is an essential mineral, the same way training is essential to Ironman
• Iron is alloyed with other metals, steel or carbon...like bikes!
• Iron can be extremely toxic if taken in large doses (speak with a professional before supplementing Iron into your diet), much like as Ironman can be contagious (for best results, consult with a qualified coach)
• In order for oxygen to bind to hemoglobin, it requires Iron - so eat your vegetables and combine with vitamin C to increase it's bioavailbility.
• Most plentiful Iron found on earth, ___________(fill in the blank)
• Iron in its purse state is chemically reactive and corrodes, so be sure to honor they taper and not train more than what is prescribed on your training plan, or you may corrode as well.
