"scale_colour_manual" ?

Hi,

I'm just started with ggplot2, I have a very basic question, I would
like to use "scale_colour_manual()" but the function is not
recognized. I verified the installation of ggplot2 and the related
pacakges, what could be the possible problems?

Old R is old. 

The newest R version is 2.11.1 and ggplot2 is 0.8.7 (I think). 

http://cran.r-project.org/ and install the new ggplot2 from there. 

Update and see if your code works.
