I'm trying to get rid off the tick marks of the x axis only. It seems
that the documentation (February 24, 2009) is out-of-date in this
respect (table 8.1 features a axis.ticks.y that does not seem to exist
anymore). Instead, I found a guide_axis() function that could do the
job but it's too low level to be used directly. Any pointers?
p <- qplot(1,1)
p + opts(axis.ticks = theme_blank())
Best regards,
baptiste
