Tuning Quantiles in Boxplot

Dear All,
Maybe a trivial question, but how do you fine-tune geom_boxplot()?
I have made some attempts (looking also at
http://had.co.nz/ggplot2/stat_quantile.html), but unsuccessfully.
Really, I have only two questions
(1) how do you tune the box amplitude (i.e. the 2 quantiles around the
median)?
(2) how do you tune the other two remaining quantiles (that also affects
the outliers)?
