ECDF plots with ggplot2?

What is the recommended way to create ECDF plots with ggplot2? There
is an example in the documentation of geom_step http://had.co.nz/ggplot2/geom_step.html
but is this the definite word on it?

Hi Christian -

I wrote this script a while back, it will make a basic ecdf plot for
one or many samples with ggplot2 graphics. From there you can tweak
the code to get exactly what you want.
