strip.background--is it possible to change height?

Is there a way to make the strip height smaller when using facet_wrap? The default appears different than previous versions as I can not reproduce my old graphs. But when I search the manual, I did not see a height parameter in the element_rect (I was using strip.background = element_rect(...)). Many thanks.
