Error message when trying to install ggplot2

Hello All,

I hope you are all well. 

I am a new to R. I started learning it as the place I am going to work for uses are instead of SPSS. 

I downloaded all the up to date files from CRAN for my mac (macOS Mojave). When I try to install ggplo2 package I run the following command: 

install.packages("/Volumes/One-Drive/OneDrive - University of Brighton/Second year files/BY260 - Research skills and professional development/Stats/R stat/Packages/ggplot2")

I am prompted with: 

--- Please select a CRAN mirror for use in this session ---

I then select London,UK.

Then I get the following error message: 

Warning message:

package ‘/Volumes/One-Drive/OneDrive - University of Brighton/Second year files/BY260 - Research skills and professional development/Stats/R stat/Packages/ggplot2’ is not available (for R version 3.5.2) 

Am I reading the error message wrong? Is the package installed, but won't work for the up to date R version?

Should I download an older R version to use this package?

Am I spoused to put the file in the work directory then enter the file name instead of the file path? The package currently is in a separate file and not in the current work directory I am working on. Does it matter?

Does the volume I am saving my files in matter? I encountered a similar problem, where some softwares are unable to open files from my OneDrive volume, then having to move them to my actual volume to access them. 

Is there any guidelines to install the package?

I really appreciate your help.

install.packages('ggplot2', repos='https://cran.rstudio.com')
