I've been looking...but only came up
with

qplot (uno,dos, ylab="{Angstroms}")
qplot (uno, dos, ylab="{\350}") #but it seems only works with latin1
encoding...which I think I don't have it (How can I be sure of that?
working with Ubuntu..and everything works with utf8 or utf8x...)

and something like
qplot(uno,dos, ylab= bquote(A^o)) which is not really helpful...(works
fine with greek letters)

any ideas?

thanks a lot!!!

qplot(uno, dos) + ylab(expression(ring(A)))

qplot(tiempo, a_6ajl2, data=ener, ylab=expression(paste("Angstroms ",

I use one of the little chracter map applications to copy and paste
unicode characters not mapped on my keyboard. The applications
typically bundled with Linux and Windows (under Accessories) include
search capability (search on angstrom, for example).
