Gantt Chart, geom_vline inserting Today's Date as 1970

When I run this code, I get the chart that I want, but for some reason it puts the vline as 1970 instead of today's date. Anyone got any idea why? 

Tried two machines with different versions.

The aes for geom_vline is xintercept, not x

I should know better. But that brings up another confusing error. I'm not sure why it's doing this, because it will take a single value. Unless it's something else? Wasn't there an issue with scale_date reported recently?

You need to use xintercept, and convert it to numeric:

The conversion to numeric is probably a bug. Could you file it on github?
