Hi all

I am considering taking the first day of the course on July 31.

But I am wondering if it will be too elementary. People here have
seen the sorts of problems I've been having, so I'd value
any thoughts on that course

Thanks

Peter

I would think (hope!) that it would be useful - and depending on the
audience I can make it more or less advanced. You'll also have the
opportunity to talk to me one-on-one.

Hi Peter -

Maybe I'm biased by being a student there, but for what it's worth I
took a full course on statistical graphics with Hadley at Rice and it
was excellent. Literally everyday I learned not only new ggplot stuff
but also general tricks in R, the kind of stuff that you see and
you're like wow, I wish I had known that when I was doing x. So I
would highly recommend his teaching.

My experience previous to his course was 5 or so years with R as well
as teaching summer sessions for our statistics REU students (RUSIS).

hope it helps
david.
