Hi,

Things have changed since gtable was introduced, and grid.ls doesn't know what to do with grobs of this class which are new in the grid ecosystem. names(g) and str(g) give you more info.

I tried to run the following code from the github wiki page "Editing raw Grid objects from a ggplot":
data  <- data.frame(Name = c("A","B","C","D","E","F","G","H"), y = c(100,200,300,400,200,300,400,350))
p <- ggplot(data,aes(x=Name,y=y)) + geom_bar()
g <- ggplotGrob(p)

And the output is just:

layout

And that's all. I think it's supposed to be a lot of things here.
