Hi everyone, I have this plot with lines an letters on it. But some of the points are really close together and they overplot. Is there a way to avoid the overploting just for the points that do that? Here is the code to produce the graph and the data is attached as "tablaBT.txt": plot1<-ggplot(tablaBT, aes(x=Fecha, y=Promedios, group=Luz, colour=Luz, linetype=Luz, shape=Luz, label=Letras))+geom_line(size=1)+geom_point()+facet_wrap(~Agua)+scale_y_continuous(name='Biomasa Total (mg)')+geom_text(colour='black', vjust=1) plot1 Thank you

Hi Luciano,

This is a problem I've been interested in for a while, but I currently
don't have any good solutions. I think the way to model it to think
of each point as a little magnet that repels nearby magnets (with
optional constraints over direction of movement). I suspect it
wouldn't be very hard to right some code that does this, but I don't
have the time at the moment.
