Dear Professors & Attorneys,

Greetings! Wishing you sound health and prosperity.

We are approaching you with a request to contribute one (or more) 40-minute lecture to the 2026 Global Academy (Hybrid) on Natural Resource Law & Governance (GA-NRL 2026) www.grassrootsglobal.net/ga26 to be held from 14 to 24 April 2026 in Turin/Italy. There is the possibility of your lecture(s) being delivered in person (face-to-face) if we acquire funding. Our Program Coordination Committee would like to invite some Experts or Resource Persons to deliver physically in Turin/Italy. Such a decision would be taken after January 2026. We will bear the modest cost of travel to Turin and accommodation for those who will be finally invited to Turin for physical presence. Again, please consider that it will depend on the situation/availability of funds. However, before such a decision, the lecture(s) can be proposed and considered for virtual delivery. Because we are not organizing this course for profit making or from a typical sponsorship, we would not be able to compensate monetarily for the contribution made. Yet, there will definitely be indirect benefits to associate with this unique global program.

Organized by The Grassroots Institute (Canada), International University College of Turin (Italy), and Yaroslav Mudriy National Law University (Ukraine), this 10-day global training course will explore the linkages of natural resources and legal instruments, legal tenets of managing natural resources and governing the resources for sustainable conservation. Depicting case studies and case laws from a wide range of current natural resources across the globe, the course considers how different social, political, economic, and gender aspects influence the legal implications surrounding natural resources. The course will consider how the current international and development system elaborates and processes to sustainably manage the available natural resources. The course aims at equipping lawyers, researchers, students, practitioners, professionals, and teachers seeking refined knowledge and skills for meeting the challenges of sustainable use of natural resources globally. This 10-day international training program will be executed in partnership and collaboration with various academic institutions, law firms, and practice-oriented organizations. Full details of the Global Academy 2026 are online at the website https://www.grassrootsglobal.net/ga26.

If you may contribute one lecture or more lectures on chosen topics(s) listed in the 10-day syllabus https://www.grassrootsglobal.net/ga24/schedule.php, please let us know your preferred topic(s). All topics are available (despite showing the names of one or more Faculties).

You may contribute a lecture as an individual or by representing your organization/university/institution. In the case of the second option, we will initiate a General Partnership process institutionally with the Faculty or University you represent. Please let us know.

We look forward to hearing from you.
