Few Production Rules (PLEASE FOLLOW THESE STRICTLY)

Guys, 

In regards for a smoother production process, lets all once again strictly adhere to set rules that were mentioned before as well. Please don’t pull the past threads or live in tester shadow, as we all have to move forward:

Delivery Timeframe

- Ring, Tanmaniya, Earrings, or similar jewellery with single or two ready master(s) / attachment(s), will take a minimum of 5 working days

- Any new master; whether hand-made or CAD, will take approx. additional 5-7 days for CAD / CAM / Liquid Module

- Necklace Sets or any linking sort of jewellery will take approx. 12-25 days depending on the design, situation on master. Therefore recommend to speak to Vikrambhai for agreed production period

- Ensure all Job Bag are properly checked by each of you. Ensure Reviewed By is properly signed and checked. Ensure all details are properly mentioned without any ambiguity & assumptions. Especially relook at the delivery date. For all ghat based setting in factory, it will take minimum 3-8 days depending on the jewellery.

- Ensure we need to give atleast 2-5 days in setting phase (depending on the jewellery) once the diamonds are issued so that we can have proper time for polish, QC, sodium too. Please don’t rush into the delivery the moment diamonds get issued on the job. 

- Factory will try its level best to delivery its order accordingly to the timeframe mentioned on the Job Bag

- For all bulk orders (above 10pcs) and with delivery date within 10-12 days, please consult with Vikrambhai / Mohan Uncle for acceptance of the delivery date (before issuance of the order). Bulk orders should have a minimum 15-20 days timeframe for production. 

- As a matter of precaution, if the order is really and extremely urgent, you should inform me for diamond bagging since we have all the sieve sizes updated in EFF system. That way, jewellery won’t get handup in diamond section for long. 

- For any of the exception or fast delivery of order, please consult and speak to Production (Vikrambhai / Mohan Uncle) for approval of the delivery date.

In case, factory is overloaded with work, they will intimate us atleast before 5-7 days so that we can communicate the same to our client(s) for prospective order(s). 

CAD Support

- We are having one CAD guy in the factory for all production support and assistance who will sit in factory premises (I guess we should find someone in a week or so) and one resource from our office (either Aasim or Alok) for additional resource. 

Production Daily Delivery

- Any delivery for the day should be communicated to factory before 11am daily. Please please follow this diligently. Reorganise yourself but ensure we adhere to this

- Factory will accept new order / job bags before 11am daily. After that, no new orders / repairs should be issued to factory

- Any discussion or enquiry or ghat to be seen - should be done before 11am 

- Please don’t keep enquiring on the status frequently

Also one more extremely important / vital point whilst affixing delivery date, please ensure delivery dates doesn’t follows on a public holiday or a Sunday or any day on which factory is closed (list of Factory Holiday is already there on records)
