Congrats to the playoff winners the final 4 are, in no specific order:

Chris Otto, Mike Fisher, Jay Deluca and Old Mark Mengel.

The winning nets were 35 and 36. There were 5 others that finished at 37.

Our final outing will be next Sunday Sept. 27. 1st tee time will be around 9:00 (details to follow)

For everyone not in the final 4 Stobs will be running a $25 Shaughnessy paying 3 places based on net scores.

We will also be running a $5 skins game. 

I will need to know who is playing we have 6 tee times and if we don't need them I would like to cancel any we won't use.

I hope guys continue to show on Wednesdays we can run a Lo Net, skins and prox as long as we get a decent turnout.

Sorry Mike a little Brqin fart It is of course Mike Fleming not Fisher. Mike Fisher was a kid I coached in baseball 35 years ago.

Good afternoon gentlemen’s league!! It’s been a fun full year. We got it in, we should feel completely accomplished about that. OK let me begin with the fact that I have been exposed to COVID-19. Last Sunday I was contact traced by a positive person. I have no symptoms and I’ve been tested and my test came back negative. I do not want anyone to hold back from saying they don’t want to play if I play. I do plan on playing but if there are people that are uncomfortable about that I will stay home no worries. With that being said I hope tomorrow is a great day for the league!!

On second thought fellas I think I’m just gonna go ahead and pull myself out from playing tomorrow. Sorry for the late withdrawal it’s been a difficult decision but I feel I need to do the right thing for everybody that is going to be attending no pressure. I’ve enjoyed the year and enjoyed the year as the reigning champion golfer of the year and good luck to everybody and I hope the Shaughnessy pays out well!

Having participated in my first Finals, I must say I had a great time. Mike was solid for all 18 holes and is a worthy champion. He needs fewer strokes going forward (haha). Considering all of the obstacles that we faced this year, I thought it was a great year. I am already looking forward to next year. Billy, Gene and Cookie; take a bow for your efforts this year. Hope everyone has a safe offseason. See you all at the winter meeting.

Thanks Mark for your comments. It truly was a fun, pressure filled round of golf. I never felt like I could “let up“.  You were all great opponents.
I echo your comments about Gene, Billy, and Cookie.  They all do a yeoman‘s job of keeping this league going. 
Again, thank you all for welcoming me, (and Jim) into the league. It’s been a lot of fun.
