Final Outing

To all GGL members.

As you know, Blackhawk has been experiencing a lot of problems with keeping the golf course in playable condition for numerous reasons.

In light of this, Hugh made a phone call to Rolling Acres and there is currently an opportunity to hold the Final outing there on the September 27th at 10:45 for 28 golfers. I would like to know how everyone would feel about this?

I am currently not in a playoff position but I would be in favor of this. Those of you who are currently in the playoffs may feel differently. I would like to get everyones feedback regarding this opportunity as soon as possible (Yes or No).

We can address this further on Wednesday.

Thank you GGL members for your responses to the Final Outing Venue question. The response was nearly unanimous that we move the league Championship and final outing to Rolling Acres this year. I hope this is the last time that we have to make such a decision as Blackhawk has treated our league very well over the years.

That said, the Championship and Final Outing has been scheduled for September 27th. Currently, we have 7 tee times beginning at 10:45 on the West/North course. If you do not plan on attending, please let us know so that we can adjust the number of tee times.

The golf course looks to be in pretty good shape and should serve us well for the Championship.
