Final outing notes

Congratulations to the Champion golfer of the year Mike Haley who won in a 2 hole sudden death playoff against Jay. It was fun watching the play with about half the league following the action.

The results put the last name on the trophy I was hoping to see, but I was hoping for a different first name LOL.

Wayne "Show me the money" O'Brien won the shaughnessy with a 66 net  (sand bagger) and Cody finished in second with a 67. Cody wants to move the league to Rolling Acres now.

Turn out was pretty good with 20 league members and 2 guests.

We also had a surprise visit from Karm showing up and actually renting a cart to follow the play for a while.

Thanks to all of the officers for all of their hard work making the season, the outings and Canton run flawlessly!

Congratulations Mike!  Also, Wayne and Cody!  Wish I could have made it.  

Thank you Gene and Jon for keeping track of everything that keeps us going.  And thank you to EVERYONE that made this past season and outings successful and fun, and for getting us through some "rough" patches (or rather "dirt" patches).  Wayne, you said it- Great league and a great group of guys!  Glad to get to enjoy it with you guys.  See you all at the winter meeting.

Already looking forward to next year.

Thanks Dad. I am glad to have the name on the trophy.  The extra holes were definitely interesting with the group following.  I’m glad to have an overall great group of guys and friends in the league.

Thanks and Congrats to Wayne on winning the money bag. It will help pay for some new clubs that he said he was going to look into doing.  If you need a good club fitter let me know.  I have a couple of guys that are excellent. 

Cody congrats as well.  Those were both really great net scores. 

Thanks Kurt as well. Good luck with outing schedule. 

Look forward to the winter meeting and if anyone wants to play a few rounds at an Avalon course in the fall, just reach out.  Happy to play while the weather permits.  

October 11th is still an option if guys want to play Avalon field club.
