Good afternoon folks, this email is to inform everybody in our league about some of the upcoming season changes and information for our golf league at Blackhawk. I attended the Blackhawk Golf League informational meeting on Thursday, March 5 and below are some of the highlights that I felt was important to share with the league. See the bullet points below: 

• the third and fourth nines will be closed until April 11

• greens have been worked and will ready for play and was reassured that they will be in good shape this year

• there will be no increases in golf costs this year, but the restaurant area will have some increases in prices

• the irrigation project will continue on the third and fourth nines in April and will finish up by the end of May, completely completed 

• online tee-times, and online store orders will be available in April

• golf range will open at the end of March

• Titlelist demo day is scheduled for 6/10/26 from 10-5pm

• foot joy golf shoes are on sale now in the pro shop and Skechers are available if they can get them online

• the Armed Forces outing will be May 17

• the senior open will have a new look this year, there will be one shotgun tee-time  at 9 AM for all participants and will be a 36 hole outing so there will not be two different tee-times this year

In closing I want to have one final note that the Blackhawk Golf Course has extended appreciation day for all the leagues at the beginning of the year. That means on April 8, our very first official league night all green fees will be paid by Blackhawk, just green fees. It’s only going to be available on the very first day that the leagues are scheduled to play. They are showing their appreciation to all the leagues that had stayed the course and are coming back.

I have attached the weekly teetimes for all leagues and weekend and weekday golf rates for the upcoming season. 

We are on a 30 day countdown and look forward to seeing everybody and enjoying another golf year. Welcome to our two added members, Randy and Kirk.

Thanks Cookie for the useful information and the state of the union of blackhawk.  

I'm guessing that since the 3rd and 4th nine are closed until April 11th (as noted from the meeting cookie attended), we won't be starting on the 3rd nine then on 4/8, hopefully there will be room on 1 and 2 that night. 

look forward to seeing you guys and having a fun season ahead, with hopefully better weather than last year.
