I’ll be at Squaw Creek.  I will forewarn everyone playing that the drainage at squaw is not the best on a few holes.  Namely near the green on hole #4 which is a par 5. It can get really soggy about 80 yards out.  Just keep that in mind.  It can play long if there has been a lot of rain recently.  I’m bringing it up so we factor that in perhaps when we decide the event for the day, since we played totally individual at Firestone farms.  

I haven’t played there this year yet.  I’m hoping to get over there 1-2 in the next 2 weeks. So as always if anyone wants to play just lmk. Mike

regarding the bloody mary bar, let me know tomorrow what's needed and I'll get it for saturday or if supplies are done, let me know who I owe some cash.

for the event on Saturday, I've discussed with quite a few guys already and everyone is on board and no complaints so far that we play a Texas Scramble (select drive) and we do the prizes as a team and have a team event, since we did all individual at Firestone Farms.  I played Squawcreek last Friday and the greens were firmer than I've ever seen them and rolling pretty quick.  we can go that direction or do a full on either 2 or 4 man team scramble.  

texas scramble/best drive. same as reserve run last year.  you select the best drive out of the group and then everyone plays their own ball from there on in, and you take the lowest score for the team.  easy and simple enough for me to follow.  

the one twist is that you have to use everyone's drive in the group at least once (or two if that is what people prefer), to make it a team event and not relying on 1-2 guys the whole day and to add a little strategy.

All, I have supplies leftover from the previous Bloody Mary bar. 

As follows:

2 unopened bottles of BM mix, 1/2 open bottle

@ 1/5th of vodka

Solo cups( probably enough)

Condiments- olives, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay, hot sauce

1-large bag of ice

As I am a waste not-want not type of guy, I will bring everything but the ice tonight. Someone in the second flight can take it up on Saturday. I will bring the ice in my cooler on Saturday
