os escribimos para agradeceros vuestra
participación en el Día Internacional de Acción por la Despatologización Trans
2014, convocado por STP, Campaña Internacional Stop Trans Pathologization.
A lo largo del
mes de octubre de 2014, 108 grupos y organizaciones coordinaron más de 90
acciones por la despatologización trans en 45 ciudades de
diferentes regiones del mundo, bajo el lema “Stop Trans Pathologization - Stop Pathologizing Gender Diversity in
Childhood – For the Diversity of Gender Expressions and Identities”. Además, 390 grupos, organizaciones y redes activistas en seis
continentes, así como numerosas personas individuales han declarado hasta la
fecha su apoyo a STP, Campaña Internacional Stop Trans Pathologization.
Nos gustaría agradecer la participación
continuada de grupos y organizaciones que llevan varios años organizando
acciones por la despatologización trans, y dar la bienvenida a los grupos y
organizaciones que se han sumado este año a la convocatoria de STP.
¡La participación de tod*s vosotr*s ha sido
muy importante para visibilizar las reivindicaciones del activismo por la
despatologización trans en general, y especialmente la demanda de una
despatologización de la diversidad de género en la infancia!
Muchas gracias a los grupos y
organizaciones que ya nos han enviado manifiestos, fotos o videos de sus
acciones. ¡Si aún no lo habéis hecho, nos encantaría conocer la documentación
de vuestras actividades!

Dear activists,
Thank you for your participation in the International Day of Action for
Trans Depathologization 2014, called to action by STP, International Campaign
Stop Trans Pathologization.
Throughout the month of October 2014, 108
groups and organizations coordinated more than 90 actions for trans
depathologization in 45 cities of different world regions under the slogan “Stop Trans Pathologization -
Stop Pathologizing Gender Diversity in Childhood – For the Diversity of Gender
Expressions and Identities”. Furthermore, to date 390
groups, organizations and activist networks in six continents, as well as
numerous individuals have declared their support of STP, International Campaign
Stop Trans Pathologization.
We would like to acknowledge the participation of groups and organizations
that have been continuously organizing actions for trans depathologization over
the last few years, and to welcome the groups and organizations that have
joined the STP call for action this year.
All of your involvement has been very important in order to give visibility
to the claims of trans depathologization activism in general, and specifically
to the demand of depathologizing gender diversity in childhood.
Furthermore, we would like to thank the groups and organizations which
have already sent us
manifestos, photos or videos of their actions. If you haven’t sent them yet, we
would love to receive documentation of your
activities!
