The club newsletter will be coming soon to your mailbox but in the mean
time I figured that I had better get out this email about the upcoming
Poker Run and picnic. I think I've figured out why my messages to the
group have sometimes not gone out, which seems to be the case with this
message. I am also including a link to the route.

Golden Gate Chapter
Poker Run
Bar BQ & Wine Tasting
Saturday, Oct. 15
San Jose to Livermore
(But not over Mt. Hamilton)

Meet at Starbucks on NorthEast corner of Capitol Ave.
and Mckee Rd. (680 to McKee East).
Starting time 10am.
Route will cover Calaveras Rd to Highway 84
and end at Del Valle Regional Park.
Swimming and boat rentals are available.
Entrance fee to the park is $6 per car.

Bring a dish to share and your own meat.
We will provide the fire, buns, and condiments.

After lunch there will be a trip to a local winery.

Thanks Larry, I appreciate it! I wasn't able to make it unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't had a chance to change the fuel filter on my truck yet. But thanks for taking care of the issue with the list, I'm looking forward to getting the emails.
