I am so very sorry to have to tell everyone that Erich lost his battle with cancer this morning at about 1 a.m. He was home with his family at the end, and that is what he wanted.
I am so lucky to have met, loved, and been loved by this man. He was truly a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and a kind heart. I am so blessed to have a supportive family and friends to turn to during this difficult time. I miss him like crazy, and wish with all my heart that he was still here. We truly lived a lot!!

The memorial services are set for Saturday November 22, at 2pm at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma.

Anyone who would like to drive together to Erich’s service can meet at Mark's VW warehouse at 941 Linda Vista Ave, Mountain View, Saturday morning 11/22 gassed up and ready to go at 10 AM. We’ll take our time and get to Petaluma 12 ish to 12:30, and have an hour to get some food. Mark is looking at a Mexican restaurant just a few blocks from where the service is.
