No worries re !! It happens sometimes. I know it was total mess for backdrop also yesterday... & certainly these experience makes us better in organizing things. Like Abhijeet said we all will be extra careful from next time :)

Hi All,

Great effort last night -

We had pathetic support from organisers and backbencher audience! I personally have never performed in such noisy conditions - its very hard to concentrate on stage -

I think the team has done reasonably well under pressure. Chetan as usual many thanks for your last minute run for the laptop - much appreciated

Sound team -
Lets make sure we do enough checks before the performance starts, Show cannot commence without your final OK. Audience wont be able to hear us without you. Always have a contingency / recovery plan and make sure you are completely satisfied with the set up.

Music Team
Amol & Dnyanesh thanks for your contribution late changes in the scenes were incorporated well!

Set Team
Set team tried its best to put up the backdrop but we didnt have the bandwidth to see it complete.

Dance team
Gavlans, Nikhil + Pendya and Krishna -
Sorry for the technical errors I know it has not gone exactly as planned but you guys have handled the situation well - Nikhil held everything together - good example of how to carry on if you have such issues. Gavlans sorry for the firefighting situation you were put it.

I personally was not happy with the repeat performance of Gavlan but also understand and appreciate that with team dynamics and such a lousy audience we all deserved to complete our bit and feel satisfied about the performance spcially after such hard work was put in. Rashmi thanks for bridging the gap of missing gavlan - no one felt your were new to the group - well done.

Lavni was a highlight and hit as usual - all girls have come out with flying colours as usual.

Rahul Rasal - one of the lead organisers thanked us for the efforts of travelling to ilford and giving everyone a great entertainment. RGGB was very well received and everyone enjoyed it.

Sorry if I have missed any individual in particular.

Thanks Bhags for those kind words (in the most informal way :P). But i agree with all you say.

Yesterday's situation, if anything, should make us more determined to perform.....

RGBB did a gr8 job pulling a show under such a pressure  and nuisance,couple of people came and said that your team had done excellent job they really liked us and appreciated our sincere efforts.

I was just chatting with my colleague here at tea time he is British and has a Marathi wife, they live in Nottingham
We were chatting in general about what we did on weekends
he told me that he went to Indian diwali show in Ill ford with relatives and they traveled all the way from Nottingham and he saw some dances which he liked I was so surprised, I told him i was performing over there and then he  told me he remembered the Laavni and he loved that alot but he said he didn't recognize me at all.

It was not your mistake. Forget it.

We (amit, rohan & chetan) know how much efforts we had given to play the lavani on time yesterday.

Now from next time as Bhagyad said before sound team testing done, we will not start the show.
Also no show without hanging mikes.
