Hello,
My gess : I think there is a line in the code like :
OPEN(3,FILE= st)
where st is an undefined string.
Just give a valid value to this string.
Be carefull with big files like the qgsdat-II-03 file, on some ubuntu systems they can create problems quite difficult to analyse.
