Great Meeting this week. Results below.
Cochrane Dam is open for crossing on Sept 27. GFBC group ride to cross the dam details TBA.
Showdown is building some mountain bike trails! A volunteer trail work day will be on Sept 21, starting at 10 am. Hope to see you there!
There is good progress on getting permission to build a new 2.5 mile segment of single track trail along the north shore of Cochrane Reservoir. We will let the club know when trail building work can commence.
Club members helped to maintain the City's MTB Skilz Park last month. We would like to see more features added including more challenging skinnies and a graduated drop structure. Need to work with the City Trails Coordinator, AJ to make this happen.
A Cyclocross Race is planned at Ted Stimac's place on October 5th and 12th at 2 pm. Plan to bring a side dish for after the ride BBQ.
The Tuesday MTB ride moves to the North Shore Trail starting Sept 16th and will stay there until next year. Meet at the Rainbow Dam Trailhead at 6 pm.
Road riders will meet at the Ulm Post Office this Wednesday for a training ride up the Smith River.
