Does anyone know what the housing rates will be for the block of rooms
at the Residencia Torre Girona? I'm trying to estimate costs for
attending the summer school, and housing is both the largest and the
most variable cost, but the Torre Girona rates aren't obvious from the
website.

I'm also having a hard time coming up with an accurate estimate for
food costs, if anyone has insights there :)

Thanks!
Rogan

Hey Rogan,

I am a student and my information is not complete. However, I did a
search on Google and these pages showed up. Please see if they are of
any use. They have cost estimation for housing. Is this what you are
looking for?

Thank you! I feel quite silly for overlooking these, now that you
point it out :)

I think these answers come easier when the questions are directed to
the whole group, which you did. :)

Cheers

Dear Rogan and Bamshad, Dear All,

I think we have a deal with the Residence giving us a favourable accommodation cost during the summer school. The Barcelona people will soon be able to confirm the prices and announce them on the web page.

As for food: lunches and coffee breaks are included in the summer school fee, and breakfast probably in the accommodation. Remains the dinner. In my limited experience, it varies from less than 10 euros (pizza, beer/simple wine) to 50 euros (luxury meal at "7 portes"). We have also planned to organize some barbecues together with food and drinks shopped by ourselves.

Regards

  Aarne.
