AAT and TGN term JSON "Couldn't find record"

to Getty Vocabularies as Linked Open Data

Hello!

I am trying to access JSON for AAT and TGN terms and getting “couldn’t find record” messages. For example: https://vocab.getty.edu/aat/term/1000161848-en works, but https://vocab.getty.edu/aat/term/1000161848-en.json does not. Is this a bug?

Hi, Jocelyn.

The ".json" extension only works for top level entities, e.g. https://vocab.getty.edu/aat/300161848.json, https://vocab.getty.edu/ulan/500032927.json, https://vocab.getty.edu/tgn/7001215.json

This has been the behavior since the beginning of the Vocab LOD service.

Hi Jocelyn!

These are the "Per-Entity_Exports". The scope and shape of that data is described at:

https://vocab.getty.edu/doc/#Per-Entity_Exports

It is available for the independent entities (Subjects, Sources, Contributors), whereas labels are subsidiary to subjects, so are not available separately.
